Well done to Year 11 students and their teachers for some excellent GCSE results this Year. 72% of students gained 5 or more GCSEs at grades A* -C including English and Maths. 45% of students achieved the new English Baccalaureate which is 3 times the national rate of 15%. Special mention to Stephan Clarke who achieved 12 GCSEs all at A *, a remarkable and record breaking achievement. At least 30 boys managed to achieve 8 or more GCSEs at A*/A grades. Remarkably , the English , Maths and Science departments alone achieved 254 A*/A grades from a school total of 415 A*/. Overall 32% of all grades achieved by the students were A*/A grades. We look forward to welcoming most of Year 11 students back into the sixth form and wish those who are going to college or employment every success for the future.
We would like to congratulate all of our A level students on achieving outstanding results - A* - B 58% A - C 82% A - E 99% This is a fantastic achievement for the students, teachers and the school.
