This familiar anthem gets a beautiful new rendition, thanks to the good people of the Oratorio Society of Queens (under the incomparable leadership of maestro David Close, music director at my little parish in Forest Hills.) Since the choir can’t perform their annual holiday concert this year, this is the next best thing. This virtual ensemble features some familiar faces and voices from my parish — and it helps kick off the holiday season with a sense of harmony and hope."
