Thursday 28th November, doors open 6:40pm, Adults £3, Concessions £2
As we look towards the end of another busy Autumn term, we begin to prepare for some of the biggest events of the calendar year. In true Richard Challoner tradition, there is no way we will be ending 2019 without our annual Winter Concert. Before half term, we saw our fantastic KS3 Musicians performing in the KS3 Recital Evening and now, this is an opportunity to see school ensembles and bands performing as well!
This promises to be an excellent evening thanks to the vast number of talented musicians we have within the school. With students from every year group encouraged to take part, our concerts always guarantee a fun evening in which we appreciate and honour the skill and talent of our students.
So, please save the date:
Thursday 28th November
Doors open at 6:40
In previous years, the hall has been full to the brim of Parents, Governors, Teachers and Guests. This makes the evening so much more special as it allows the students the chance to perform in front of an audience of 400+ friends and family. Owing to this, we will be opening doors at 6:40pm in order to get everyone seated before the 7pm start.
Refreshments will be available to buy before the concert and during the interval and all proceeds will go towards future shows and concerts such as the Carol Service and Alumni Carol service in December, the Battle of the Bands competition in February and the whole school production of My Fair Lady later in 2020.
